Lauren is our 3/4 Year Old, Biik Group Teacher, Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader. Lauren holds her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and has been at Paratea Preschool since 2012. Lauren is passionate about creating an inclusive, welcoming environment for all children and families.

Cathy is our 4 Year Old Tarrang Group Teacher. Cathy has her Diploma of Teaching in Early Childhood and has been teaching for 30 years. Cathy has been working at Paratea Preschool since 2023 and enjoys connecting children with nature and practicing mindfulness.
Gemma Wood
Nairm Group
Gemma is our 3 Year Old Nairm Group Teacher. Gemma completed her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education in 2023 and is excited to be taking on her first year of teaching at Paratea Preschool. Gemma has worked at Paratea for 4 years.
Lisa Rodwell
Tarrang Group – Lunch Covers
Lisa has been at Paratea Preschool for 5 years working in various roles, in 2024 Lisa will be working with the Tarrang group completing lunch covers. Lisa has completed her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and in 2023 Lisa completed her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education.
Kelly Wooding
Nairm & Biik Group
Kelly is our 3 Year Old Nairm Group Educator and 3/4 Year Old Biik Group Educator. Kelly holds her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and has over 4 years experience working in Early Childhood. Kelly started at Paratea Preschool in 2023 and we’re very excited to have her apart of our team.

Michelle is our 3 Year Old Nairm Group Educator and 4 Year Old Tarrang Group Educator. Michelle holds her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and has 10 years experience working in Early Childhood.
Lucy Bridgeman
Biik Group
Lucy is our 3/4 Year Old, Biik Group Educator. Lucy holds her Diploma of Early Childhood Education, Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Certificate of Education Support. Lucy is passionate about cooking with children and has been at Paratea for 7 years.
Terri maiorino
Tarrang Group
Terri is our 4 Year Old Tarrang Group Educator. Terri holds her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and has 10 years experience working in Early Childhood Education. Terri is passionate about working with children with additional needs.
